At Console, our goal is to help the D2C merchants be on par with the retail leviathans like Amazon and Flipkart providing an A-ONE consumer experience.
Console was born out of the first-hand experience of our co-founders, Nikhil Goyal, who faced multifarious problems in scaling his D2C brand due to the shortcomings of the e-commerce solutions in the market. He found that the tech tools used to sell across different channels were too fragmented, and using these third-party tech apps and tools made functioning inept. There was nothing in the market that fit their entire needs.
After a lot of hard work and two months of implementation, they saw 82% growth in their revenue starting May 2019 to July 2019. Conversions on orders were off the chart, and business boomed. Soon, he realized the huge demand for advanced solutions in the D2C market.
While Nikhil was building his brand, Abhishek Verma, our co-founder, ex-Venture Capital, was working in the investments team. While he was evaluating startups and meeting portfolio companies, he figured out that the data is in silos, with no conclusive metrics, no plug-and-play (PnP) software, and no easy-to-use interface. On top of this, D2C brands end up spending more as any two software in the D2C enabler space have overlapping features and an integration/onboarding cost as well.
